pally tank and dps tips

ive spoken to a dps i know and these are the results "unbuffed"
4197 ap, 302 hit rating, 31.56 crit, 11 expertise aka 96 rating"
(strenght is about 1600 but is a dodgy stat so try to get it high but AP is the important one. and around 300 agi if intrested but again im told its not important to a pally dps)

this is about 4268 dps on vezax in uldar so these are high stats but
its a goal.

Is AP more important to a pala DPS? theres probs loads of different view points, according to the sites i was reading they told me to stack STR as a ret pala to push DPS up.

Something to do with STR > AP > crit. i think they said that STR scales with AP due to the way our REt tree talent build works.
